Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has confirmed that Ghana is well-prepared for its upcoming friendlies against Austria and Germany later this month.
As part of their buildup to the 2026 World Cup, the Black Stars will face Austria on Friday, March 27, at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, before taking on Germany three days later in Stuttgart.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, the Leicester City forward acknowledged the quality of their opponents but insisted the team is ready to give their all.
"We take every game seriously, just that it is what it is sometimes. We are expecting tough games against Austria and Germany, but we will do our best," Ayew said.
He added that the squad has been focusing on all aspects of preparation.
"We are preparing very well, tactically, technically and physically, and we look good, but let's see what happens tomorrow.
"I don't want to talk too much because we have a couple of training sessions, so we are ready for tomorrow, and we will see what happens tomorrow, but Monday will take care of itself," he added.
Kick-off against Austria is set for 17:00 GMT.
