Antoine Semenyo and Mohammed Salisu have pulled out of the Black Stars camp after sustaining injuries ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against South Korea.
The Ghana Football Association announced their withdrawals on Sunday, explaining that both players were ruled out following detailed medical checks.
Semenyo, who led Ghana in last Friday’s Kirin Challenge Cup loss to Japan, has been diagnosed with a sprain to the left anterior talofibular ligament.
The Bournemouth forward aggravated the problem during the match and has since flown back to England for further care.
Salisu’s condition was confirmed jointly by AS Monaco’s medical team and Black Stars doctors, who identified a bilateral medial collateral ligament sprain, ruling him out of the trip to Seoul.

Their absence, coming on the heels of Francis Abu’s earlier setback, leaves Otto Addo with 19 players available for the final fixture of the international break. Ghana face South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul, with kick-off set for 10:00 a.m.
Despite the disruptions, the Black Stars will look to finish the window with a strong response.
