Italian side Atalanta BC have reached an agreement to sign Kamaldeen Sulemana from Southampton.
The Ghana international is expected to sign a deal until 2029 in a deal worth €17.5m in instalments plus €4m add-ons.
Southampton can also keep a 15 per cent cut of the future sale if it does leave Bergamo in future.
The 23-year-old can play as a left-sided winger, a support striker or even a centre-forward if required.
During that time, the Ghanaian scored once while also providing one assist, averaging 55 minutes per game in the English top flight.
Their relegation from the Premier League has forced the club to sell some of its players to cut down wages.
Sulemana made 30 competitive appearances for Southampton this season, contributing two goals and three assists between the Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup.
Sulemana joined Southampton from Stade Rennes in January 2023 for €25m.
