Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has launched the Standard Chartered Cup (SC Cup) 2024 Tournament.
SC Cup is a 5-aside football tournament that provides Standard Chartered markets a platform to actively interact with the Bank’s clients and football fans across the country. The Tournament is hinged on the Bank’s partnership with Liverpool FC.
The invitational tournament offers the Bank a unique moment to engage its clients in an exciting competition with a chance to visit Anfield, the iconic home of Liverpool FC and witness a live match. Corporate and Employee Banking clients will face off in Accra to compete for the ultimate title – Winner of SC Cup 2024.
Asiedua Addae, Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing, Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Limited, said “Our partnership with Liverpool FC has thrived because of our shared values. SC Cup provides us with a unique platform to actively engage our clients and soccer enthusiasts. We look forward to giving our clients the opportunity to experience the Anfield atmosphere”.
Previously, Standard Chartered has hosted SC Trophy since 2015. Apart from watching Liverpool FC play live at Anfield, the winners have visited the training grounds of Liverpool FC, received coaching from Liverpool FC legends and enjoyed a complete tour of Anfield.
Standard Chartered is the Main Club Partner of Liverpool Football Club for both men and women’s teams. The partnership has been running for the past 14 seasons and provides incredible money-can’t-buy opportunities and experiences for our clients, colleagues and the communities where we operate.
