Dutch Eredivisie side, Ajax have agreed a deal to sign Kamaldeen Sulemana on a long-season loan deal from Southampton.
The Ghana international is seen as a replacement for the departing Steven Bergwijn who is set to leave the Eredivisie giants and move to Saudi Arabia.
According to football transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, Sulemana's loan move to the Dutch side includes an option to buy despite his contract with the Saints ending in 2027.
Ajax had been interested in the winger back in 2021 before he moved to Stade Rennes instead from FC Nordsjaelland for €17m back in the summer of 2021
Subsequently, Sulemana joined Southampton in a deal worth €25m back in January of 2023.
During his time in France Sulemana made 47 appearances, scoring six goals and grabbing four assists.
For Southampton he played 44 games, scoring twice and grabbing four assists. He has not made an appearance for the side in the Premier League this season.
The fast and pacy winger who is nursing an injury is yet to make an appearance for Southampton in the Premier League. The injury has ruled him out of Ghana's games against Angola and Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Sulemana has featured 19 times for Ghana's senior national team without a goal.
