Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, on Saturday joined members of the Matan Nasara group to fry eggs shortly after arriving at the election centre for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Ashanti Regional executive elections.
COKA, a former Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, is contesting to reclaim the position as the party elects new regional executives across the country.
The unusual gesture took place at a tent set up by some women’s groups of the party to provide food and refreshments for delegates throughout the voting process.
COKA’s decision to join the women in preparing food attracted cheers from delegates and party supporters, adding a lively touch to the atmosphere at the election centre as participants awaited the commencement of voting.
