Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, along with assistant coaches John Paintsil and Fatau Dauda, narrowly escaped a serious accident on Sunday.
The incident occurred on the Tarkwa-Takoradi road as they were returning to Accra after attending the Champion of Champions match between Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex and Ghana FA Cup winners Nsoatreman on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the T&N Park.

Images circulating on social media showed significant damage to their vehicle, with goalkeepers' trainer Fatau Dauda seen walking near the wreckage.
Fortunately, the coaches appeared to have escaped unharmed, though a thorough evaluation of any possible injuries will be conducted.
The Black Stars' technical team has been gearing up for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
The team is scheduled to begin their qualifying campaign against Angola on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before heading to Berkane to face Niger.
