Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew made his debut for Leicester City in their 2-1 defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

The 32-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Foxes on Friday, moving from Crystal Palace.

Leicester City’s head coach, Steve Cooper, brought Ayew on as a second-half substitute. The former Swansea City and Aston Villa forward replaced Bobby De Cordova-Reid on the left wing, contributing with a dribble and completing 83% of his passes.

Fulham took the lead in the 15th minute through Smith Rowe, but Leicester equalized in the 38th minute with a goal from Wout Faes, ending the first half at 1-1.

In the second half, Alex Iwobi’s 70th-minute strike secured the victory for Fulham.

Despite Ayew's contributions, Leicester couldn't find a way back into the game, allowing Fulham to hold on for the win.

Ayew will be aiming to secure a starting position in Leicester's upcoming fixtures, including their EFL Cup match against Tranmere and a Premier League encounter with Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium.
