
Ghana’s badminton team got the bronze medal at the 2024 All Africa Badminton Championship in Senegal in the men’s double game.
The team’s inspiring performance saw them finish third, behind Mauritius and Egypt, who took the top two spots.
The championship brought together top badminton players from across the continent and featured a strong field of participating countries, including Ghana, Burundi, Senegal, Mauritius, Egypt, Tunisia, Congo, South Africa, Benin, Zimbabwe, Gambia, and Nigeria.
The men’s double team encounter was a thrilling affair, with Ghana’s pair, Leslie Addo and Jonathan Ankrah, putting up a valiant fight against their opponents.
In the end, Mauritius emerged as the champions, with Egypt taking silver and Ghana securing the bronze medal.
