The Black Stars of Ghana have started preparations for the clash against Egypt this week.
The Black Stars will take on the Pharaohs on Thursday in their second Group B game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Ghana is heading into the big game on the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat to Cape Verde.
Ahead of the tough contest against Egypt, the Black Stars led by head coach Chris Hughton trained on Tuesday night.
The team will hold a final training session on Wednesday night before heading into the game the following day.
Ghana’s Group B clash against Egypt will kick off at 8pm on Thursday, January 18.
The Black Stars need a win to increase their chances of qualifying for the knockout stage of the 2023 AFCON.
After missing the game against Cape Verde, Mohammed Kudus is expected to be available for the Egypt game.
