Former Ghana midfielder, Derek Boateng says he misses playing for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
The former Fulham midfielder was a key player for the Black Stars during his playing days.
Having retired in 2018, Boateng in a social media post revealed that he missed playing for the national team.
Boateng was part of the Black Stars team that qualified the country for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
He subsequently played in the 2010 Mundial where the Black Stars played in the quarterfinals for the first time.
Boateng went on to play professional football in Greece, Sweden, Israel, Germany, Spain, Ukraine, England, and the United States during a career that spanned between 1999 and 2017.
A full international between 2001 and 2013, he won 47 caps for the Ghana national team and scored just once.
