As many as five clubs could finish the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season as Champions.
A 2-1 comeback win for Asante Kotoko in the clash against Aduana Stars on Sunday night has blown the title race wide open.
In a Week 27 encounter played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the two teams put up an impressive display in their bids to finish the game with a maximum of three points.
While Aduana Stars would land the first blow, the team could not hold on to the finish line.
The equaliser from Isaac Mintah which handed the visitors the lead in the 26th minute was canceled out by Asante Kotoko's prolific striker Steven Mukwala in the 38th minute before the break.
Three minutes after recess, Asante Kotoko netted the crucial second goal through Eric Zeze to secure a delightful 2-1 comeback victory.
Aduana Stars despite the defeat today stay top of the Ghana Premier League standings.
However, only five points separate the team from the other top five clubs with as many as seven matches left to play in the Ghana Premier League.
