Ghana international, Abdul Majeed Waris is set to enjoy regular playing time during the 2022/23 football season.
The hardworking forward over the last couple of seasons has been massively affected by injury setbacks.
Although he was fit most parts of last season, he was not the preferred first choice option in the attack of his club, Racing Strasbourg.
Today, Majeed Waris has sealed a move to Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta to strengthen the squad of the team for the new football season.
“Anorthosis Famagusta announces the signing of a contract with footballer Abdul Majeed Waris. The agreement lasts until the summer of 2024.
“We welcome the footballer to our team and wish him every success with the "Phoenix" on his chest,” an official statement from the club in Cyprus has said.
Majeed Waris, 30, has moved to continue his career in Cyprus having in the past had spells in Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and France.
