Highly-rated Ghana striker, Evans Etti has completed a delightful transfer from Accra Lions FC to Chinese outfit Heilongjiang Ice City FC, Modernghana Sports can report.
The representatives of the young forward and that of the Chinese League One side have been in talks over a potential move in the past week.
After reaching an agreement, Evans Etti has officially been signed by Heilongjiang Ice City FC to provide a squad boost for the team of the side.
“Evans Etti joined China League One outfit Heilongjiang Ice City FC with immediate effect,” a confirmation statement on the Twitter page of Accra Lions FC has said.
Speaking on the transfer of the player, Accra Lions Manager Ishmael Hamidu said, “Etti’s move to China is yet another proof that Accra Lions became a globally recognized brand. Nine players left us for Europe and four players to Asia in recent years.”
He concluded, “We can proudly say that every player who performs well for Accra Lions gains worldwide recognition. We wish him all the best and every success in his future career.”
Evans Etti has joined Heilongjiang Ice City FC on the back of an explosive season in the National Division One League.
He ended the 2020/2021 campaign with 10 goals and 10 assists for Accra Lions FC.
