Kuuku Dadzie apologises over match fixing allegations on Kotoko and King Faisal tie

Ebusua Dwarfs coach, Kuuku Dadzie has rendered an unqualified apology over match-fixing allegations claims.

The former Black Queens coach in an audio said the game between Asante Kotoko and King Faisal which ended in a draw last Saturday was a fixed match.

He also stressed that officials of Kotoko approached him and asked to ensure his outfit beat Hearts of Oak.

In a swift action, the former defender was then charged for misconduct by the Compliance and Integrity officer of the Ghana Football Association.

The Ghana Football Association [GFA] ordered Kuuku Dadzie to provide concrete evidence before them to back those match-fixing comments he made and was given by the close of Thursday, 8th July 2021 to do that.

In a response Thursday, July 8, the ex-international now trainer denied speaking to any media house on the matter but had a private conversation instead.

He however apologised to the clubs he labelled his allegations on and to also the Ghana Football Association.

Also, he noted that it was never an open interview with Oyerepa FM in Kumasi like it was speculated but rather he was recorded secretly by an unknown person.

“After the game, there was general private discussion after our game and the Premier League in general with my friends.

“The audio circulating was recorded without my consent.

“However, I wish to apologize unreservedly to all who have been affected by the said conversation especially to Asante Kotoko Football Club, King Faisal Football Club and the Ghana Football Association,” he said in his response.
