A solitary strike from young forward Kwaku Karikari on Sunday afternoon handed Liberty Professionals a 1-0 win against Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League.
The Dansoman-based club after struggling to compete in the first round of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league looks to have found their mojo in the second round.
Last weekend, the team hammered Elmina Sharks 4-0 on matchday 19 to bag three crucial points to provide a boost for surviving relegation at the end of the season.
Following up that top display with another fine performance today, Liberty Professionals have cruised to an important victory.
In the game played at the Len Clay Sports Stadium, attacking midfielder Kwaku Karikari netted the only goal to ensure his team amassed the maximum three points.
The important victory means that Liberty Professionals now have 21 points and could be out of the relegation zone if they are able to win their next match in the Ghana Premier League.
