Veteran Ghanaian gaffer, Annor Walker is set to quit Accra Great Olympics as head coach due to illness, a Board Member has confirmed.
Walker has not been in the dugout for the last two matches played which was against Aduana Stars and Ashgold.
The former Nania FC head coach has steered the club for a good run in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season and has been tipped for national team job.
But after failing to sit in the dugout, the Wonder Club have failed to win their last two matches with all ending in defeat but will be hoping to get the needed results against Inter Allies in the matchday 9 fixtures.
However, a board speaking to Footballghana.com confirmed that Annor Walker is likely not to return to the club again due to illness.
"It doesn't look like he [Annor Walker] will return to the club again due to his condition," the board member said.
"He does not look and I don't think if I am a family member I will allow him to return to Great Olympics," he added.
Annor Walker was named as the head coach of the club on February 2020.
