Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Jimmy Odukoya, has officially confirmed his marriage to Pastor Mo Jasmine.
The clergyman made the announcement on Sunday, November 1, during a service at the church headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos, where he presented his new wife to the congregation for the first time.
The announcement came two days after he sparked speculation on social media with a close-up photo of two hands adorned with wedding rings.
Addressing the congregation, Odukoya quoted the biblical story of Adam, noting that when Adam saw Eve, he recognized her as bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh.
Odukoya stated that he was looking and searching until he found her, adding that some people wondered if his social media post was a piece of artwork, but he clarified that it was his wife.
He said:
"You know, the Bible said it is not good; it said I will find someone suitable. When Adam saw, he said, 'This is the flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone; I was looking and searching, and I found.'"
"Some of you saw the post; some people said, 'Is it artwork?' No, it's my wife; allow me to introduce you to Pastor Mrs Odukoya, my new first lady. Pastor Mo Odukoya."
Jimmy Odukoya was previously married to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko, with whom he shares two children.
The Nollywood actor assumed leadership of the Fountain of Life Church after his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, passed away in 2023.
