Rema Opens Up On Inspiration Behind Song 'Oh No'

Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has revealed the inspiration behind his song 'Oh No,' sharing a personal story of heartbreak.

Speaking during a livestream with streamer Okiki on Friday night, he disclosed that he approached a lady for a serious relationship, but she turned him down because she was not ready to commit to one man.

Rema explained that the lady told him she still wanted to explore life as a single woman and was not ready to be taken off the streets. He said the experience inspired the song.

The award-winning singer further disclosed plans to reassess his decisions following his early journey ino fame.

He said:
"The song was inspired by a lady I wanted a serious relationship with, but she said she still wants to be on the streets."
