Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has expressed frustration over what she described as a blatant disregard for traffic rules by a road user in Lagos.
In a video shared online, she alleged that a driver abandoned his designated lane to evade traffic congestion and drove against traffic on a lane meant for motorists heading towards Lekki.
Osunde insisted she would not make way for such violators, regardless of whether they had police escorts. She also expressed her frustration with the general disregard for road regulations in Lagos, stating that the city is already congested without drivers breaking traffic rules.
She wrote:
"I will not leave my lane for you when you are passing one way. I won't do it. I don't care if you have police in your car."
"I'm sick of Nigerians just doing anyhow, as if Lagos is not congested enough, without you passing one way and breaking traffic lights."
"Unless you're an ambulance or a fire truck and emergency service, I will not leave my lane for you when you're passing one way. I won't."
