Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has shared a touching photo capturing a rare four-generation family moment with her son, her 72-year-old mother, and her 95-year-old grandmother.
The actress shared the images on Instagram, describing the gathering as a blessing and a memory she intends to treasure.
Captioning the photo, Dima-Okojie said her heart is full looking at the image, noting that it is an indescribable blessing that her grandmother gets to meet and hold her great-grandson. She reflected on how she was cared for by her mother and grandmother while caring for her son, describing the experience as humbling.
She expressed gratitude for the love and guidance she has received from the women who raised her, praying that she can pour into her son even a fraction of what they have poured into her.
She wrote:
"Four generations "
"Looking at this photo, my heart is so full. My incredible 72 year old mum, my remarkable 95 year old grandmother, my son, and me. What an indescribable blessing that my grandmother gets to meet and hold her great-grandson, and that we get to freeze this moment in time together."
"As I cared for my son, I was also deeply cared for by my mum and my grandmother. There is something so humbling about becoming a mother while still being mothered. Their presence, their prayers, their gentle guidance, and the love they've poured into me have carried me through this season in ways I can't fully put into words."
"I don't take this for granted. I know how rare and precious it is to have four generations together in one frame, and I will treasure this memory forever."
"To the women who raised me, loved me, and showed me what grace, resilience, and unconditional love look like, thank you. I pray that I can pour into my son even a fraction of what you've poured into me."
"My heart is full. Forever grateful.
And we DO NOT have enough Mother's Day and that's on period."
The Nigerian Voice recently reported that Ini Dima-Okojie welcomed her son in June, describing motherhood as the turning point that ushered in her best life.
