Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa has debunked widespread rumours of his death after an obituary poster announcing his demise surfaced on social media.
In an Instagram video, the Yoruba actor, known for his police officer roles, assured fans that he is alive and in good health.
Ajasa called out the platforms responsible for spreading false news about him and his colleagues, wishing the death back to the senders and their families.
He urged his fans both in Nigeria and abroad to
disregard the rumours, stating that there is nothing wrong with him.
He said:
"I'm still much alive in good health."
"To everyone posting my obituary around, I'm saying back to the sender
to you and your family."
"Good day everyone, my name still remains Owolabi Ajasa, your
Nollywood police officer. I want to tell all my fans both in Nigeria
and abroad that I'm still much alive. I'm alive hale and hearty.
There's nothing wrong with me."
