
The Coastal Development Authority (CODA) has appointed Emmanuel Nii Odartei Obetsebi-Lamptey as its new Communication Manager.
Obetsebi-Lamptey, until his appointment, was a Regional Monitor for NABCO, Greater Accra in charge of Public Relations. He was also a Communication Consultant for Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety, Accra.
He joins the CODA team with extensive community development experience having worked with the SOS Children's Villages (SOSCV), Ghana as a community based organiser and facilitator. As Secretary of the SOSCV Child Protection Committee, he was instrumental in the formulation and implementation of community volunteer-led child protection strategies.
Obetsebi-Lamptey is the host of Development Watch, a political show on Adoa TV.
With this new appointment, Obetsebi-Lamptey is expected to enhance the impact of CODA in strenghtening families and empowering communities in the coastal development zone with strategic communications through social and economic development-oriented approaches.
