The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) will hold its 2026 Land Combat Fire Power Demonstration at the Battle Training Camp in Bundase on Friday, October 30.
Residents in the area have been urged not to panic over gunfire and explosions.
The annual exercise will feature live firing of heavy weapons, battle drills and other tactical manoeuvres.
In a press release issued on Friday, October 23, the military said the demonstration is organised for students of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
“The demonstration will involve live firing of heavy weapons, battle drills and other tactical manoeuvres,” the statement said.
The exercise will be attended by government officials, Defence Attachés, military personnel and other invited guests.
The military has therefore urged residents of Bundase and its surrounding communities to remain calm during rehearsals and the main exercise.
“The Ghana Armed Forces wishes to assure the public that all necessary safety measures have been put in place and counts on the cooperation of all,” the statement added.
