While the fate of the Menzgold customers are yet to be known after the court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Nana Appiah Mensah, owner of the gold dealership company at large, some victims of what is described as Real Estate Ponzi Scheme are digging for the whereabouts of the CEO of Adehyie Estates Limited Peter Kwaku Sika Dapaah after defrauding them of their monies.

The victims are partly blaming Afia Pokuaa alias Iron Lady of Adom Fm, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong alias KABA of blessed memory and Accra Fm for their predicament.

According to the victims, they fell in love with the radio adverts and suaviloquent words of the above show hosts concerning the ‘Buy Two Plots of Land and Get One Free Land’ advert sponsored by Adehyie Estates Limited few years ago but got jilted beginning of July 2018.

The victims are of the view that, even though they were much aware of the rampant land litigation in the country, what informed their purchasing decisions was the constant touting of the man’s business by these popular show hosts which inspired them to go for the offer without thinking twice.

The comments by the show hosts, according to the victims, were taken hook, line and sinker-hence the reason not to doubt the authenticity of the real estate developer.

According to them, after monies were paid to Peter Kwaku Sika Dapaah at his well decorated office in Kokomlemle in Accra adjacent Top Fm flanked with heavy billboards, they were individually taken to a parcel of land somewhere in Kasoa claimed as theirs.

The owner of Adehyie Estates who claimed to be a man of God, per their own terms of the deal, asked customers for six weeks to complete the documentation process for the service plots to enable them take full ownership of their properties.

Since then, the CEO cum pastor, Peter Kwaku Sika Dapaah vanished into thin air with the booty. The victims lamented that several calls have been placed to him but went unanswered. Hourly visits have been made to his rented office in Kokomlemle but yielded no result.

They recounted that in one of their rampant visits to the CEO's office, the owner of the facility who appear to be in the same ditch with them was also looking for the whereabouts of Mr. Sika Dapaah for similar offences.

The owner of the office facility alleged that he (Peter Kwaku Sika Dapaah) is on her wanted list for disappearing without paying for his rent due in October 2018.

Some of the victims later stormed his church, Season Chapel International Church, during prayer session to fish him out but were told by the Associate Pastor that he (Peter Kwaku Sika Dapaah, who is the founder of the church) had travelled to the United States enjoying the cozy weather.

Three of the victims involved in the land scam, who are propelled by the daily frustrations are calling on the state security agencies to assist them retrieve their monies from the CEO of Adehyie Estates Limited who is currently at large.

According to them, the matter was reported to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters in July 2018 but no tangible result has since been achieved as the police kept repeating ‘they are on course.'

Narrating their ordeal to TV3’s morning show host Johnnie Hughes in a 27mins 39secs video on social media, Juanita Addo, Ben Abban and Eric Gyima Donkor blamed the radio personalities and Accra Fm for failing to first and foremost do their background checks on the genuineness of the business before cajoling people on their platforms with their tantalizing words over the ridiculous advert.

Eric Gyima Donkor, a victim stated, “In my case, the advert was played on a credible radio station, Adom Fm. I heard it from KABA on Asempa Fm. And even KABA said he can put his live on line for the company because they are doing a genuine business. Like I said, we listen to people and what they say. And we do trust them at times and he is not him alone, Afia Pokuaa and the rest.”

Another victim, Ben Abban stated, “I was there sometimes ago and I heard Accra Fm saying the man even owe them for non-payment of adverts so we are all looking for searching for him. This is what Accra Fm told me. You as a credible radio station must check have checked the man’s background because at the end of the day you are inciting a lot of people to go after something. Now look at what you are telling me. I took monies from son who stays in abroad for the lands but now the relationship between me and my son is in tatters. It is even more difficult to ever ask him for money again because he won’t believe me again.”

According to the victims, some of his workers are still cashing in on the desperate customers with the pretense of helping them acquire the land documents while others are nicodemusly plying the dubious trade to unsuspecting customers.
