Let's Fight Corruption And Restore Dignity- Anglican Church
02.01.2019 LISTEN

The Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, Right Reverend Felix Odei Annancy, has called on Ghanaians to work together to help stop corruption and restore dignity in the country.

He explained that such development was slowing down the progress of the country and denying the people the opportunity to enjoy the blessings of God in their daily lives.

Bishop Annancy was speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Koforidua during his New Year Message to the congregation.

He called on couples to stop immoral sexual lives, which was causing the collapse of many families in the country.

Bishop urged Ghanaians to trust in God to shepherd them through another successful new year. Ghanaians must be thankful to God for a successful 2018.

He said some countries experienced wild bush fires, floods, devastating earth quakes and wars but Ghana was spared any of those calamities in 2018.

Bishop Annancy expressed the hope that God would show his favour on the country and the people would successfully go through the New Year.

He urged Christians to show total commitment to the will of God and put up the right altitude and high moral conduct in all places.
