
An Accra High Court (Land Division) chaired by Her Lordship Ellen Vivian Amoah J. has placed an Interim Injunction on the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) and the Attorney General office over an intended demolition of Agbogbloshie.
In a plaintiff filed on 19 September 2018 by Mr Prince Tetteh Nettey of house No D2214 of Agbogbloshie, Accra with Suit No LD/1029/18 in support of an Ex Parte motion against the AMA and the AG office's 1st and 2nd defendants respectively
The Judge averred that upon hearing the submission of the Plaintiff's Counsel George Tetteh Wayoe Esq.
"It is hereby Ordered that the Defendants, Respondents either by themselves or their Agents, Servants,Assigns are restrained from trespassing to carry out any intended demolition exercise at Agbogbloshie parcel of land in dispute to avoid an immediate hardship and loss to the Plaintiff for a period of ten days" she noted
