The Education Minister, who doubles as Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South Constituency, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, aka 'Napo,' has constructed a modern borehole project with Polytank to help supply potable water to the constituents.
He used his share of the MPs' Common Fund to construct the project for the people.
Some residents in the Manhyia Electoral Area informed Napo about their water challenges during the MP's popular 'Meet Your Constituents' programme.
During the programme, the Manhyia South lawmaker gave assurance that he would work to help solve the water challenges in the Manhyia Electoral Area without delay.
Speaking at the commissioning of the borehole project, Napo said that he has the responsibility to solve problems facing people in the Manhyia South Constituency.
The legislator stated that he continue to work hard to expedite the development of Manhyia South.
Napo disclosed that water from the borehole should be supplied freely to the public, admonishing the people to take proper care of the facility for future generations.
