Ghanaian Woman Nominated For A Top European Award In Holland

A 48 year old Ghanaian resident in the Netherlands Madam Gifty Manukure who is also the president of a non governmental organisation that champinos the cause to empower women in the dutch society has been nominated for a top european award in the netherlands.The zzn[zwarte zaken vrouwen nederland] that is black business woman in netherlands award,which hopes to achieve the objective of stimulating black women by means of positive example to obtain economic independence by starting their own business at the same time encouraging other black women business owners and inspire them to follow good example within the dutch society.\par The hard working mother of two , a wife and owner of children,s play garden and nursing center wipsa kids which operates 24 hours shelter for children in the age of 0-4years in amsterdam,allude her success to God,s favour,her positive mental attitude towards her goals and the ability to get going even when the going gets tough.

In 2001 she won an award for being the organisation to have presented a project that seeks to create employement for people in the amsterdam district and also create an avenue for women empowerment.

Gifty Munukre has been nominated along side two women, the first Ghanaian woman in europe to be nominated for the award which will take place in a special gala for black business women at the okura hotel in amsterdam, the award will be presented by the secretary of state for economic affairs,mrs Karen van Gennip .
