The Realities Of Faith, Prayer, Grace And Mercy

God is there for everybody and the grace covers all those who would ride on it. But attitude makes the difference. Have you ever pondered over why on the field of play, each of the team pray, calling God for victory. But in the end, one will be victorious. Attitude is the factor. If you don't train hard to face the battle and you think victory will fall like manna, forget. This is the main reason why most people think their prayers are not answered and jump from one pastor to the other.

So many people also spend the afternoon and nights in prayer but still feel empty and their prayers never crosses the zinc(roofing sheets), how much more reaching the sky. The Christian life is guided by faith and principles. But our Pastors don't teach the principle aspects making members to struggle in life. The astronomical consultation fees cannot set you free. Understand the realities of faith, prayer, grace and mercy.

And God said, These people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honour me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. (Isaiah 29:13, Mathew 15:8). God searches human heart and motives. So if your heart is not open and pure, don't run to pastors and think your problem will be solved.

Also in Isaiah 58:3-12, it is crystal clear what is required of praying and fasting. That before you pray/fast, you have to remove the yoke of injustice. The Lord says the same time as you fast, you pursue your own interests and oppress your workers. God listens to a clean and open heart. When this is done we see the favour(Grace) shinning like the morning sun, and God's presence will always protect you on every side and when you pray, God will answer and when you call, God will respond. And God will satisfy you with Good Things, keep you strong and well( Isaiah 58:9-11). That is what is required of us in true praying and fasting.

James 4:3, and when you ask, you do not receive it because your motives are bad, you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.

Grace is to the humble not the proud( James 4:6,10). In Isaiah 66:2, God said I am pleased with those who are humble and repentant, who fear me and obey me. God listens to the humbled heart in Prayer and you don't even need to shout to break your voice. God listens to the silent prayer of a sincere heart than a stentorian voice in prayer whose heart is occupied with injustice. Most Christians goes to the church full of bitterness and pain. After all, is Saturday or Sunday and they must go to church. And when you pray, forgive anything you may have against anyone, so that your father in heaven will forgive the wrongs you have done(Mark 11:25).

Even there are principles to offertory which we normally overlook. Mathew 5:23, So if you are about to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother, and then come back and offer your gift to God. In other words, if something is brought to your conscious mind by the Spirit of God— “First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift” . Never object to the intense sensitivity of the Spirit of God in you when He is instructing you down to the smallest detail. God listens to the prayer of an open mind and a clean heart. Remember, the church is not a place to hide our sins and harbour hatred, and seek for grace, goodness and mercies.

After prayers, back your prayers with positive energy and believe that is answered. Don't doubt prayers.

God did not give us a bad or good life. He gave us life. It becomes whatsoever you paint on it. You can paint misery,you can paint bliss, you can paint success, you can paint failure. This freedom is your glory. It depends on your smart decisions and choices. You pray and back your prayers with positive action. Back your prayers with deeds and actions. You don't pray and wait for a miracle. For example, you can pray the whole morning, afternoon, night or through the whole week and if you don't work and sleep on, you will be as hungry as a church mouse. You don't spend your time sleeping and think faith, grace and mercy will bring food to your table. God blesses and listens to the cry of a hardworking man not a lazy man ( Proverbs 20:13).

Prayers are means of instructing your subconscious mind to expect desired outcomes and if you allowed that to influence smart choices, prayers are answered (Wilson Arthur). When you pray and believe and feeds into positive action and a positive attitude of a positive expectation, you become a magnet that attracts goodness and mercies, grace and opportunities. In that way, you attract right people at the right time, and your lack turns into luck. Usually, we Christians hide behind grace and mercy which is our comfort zone, and not accepting realities.

Your subconscious mind works day and night to make your behavior fits a pattern consistent with your emotionalized thoughts,hopes,and desires.Your subconscious mind grows either flowers or weeds in the garden of your life, whichever you plant by the mental equivalents you create (Brian Tracy).

The job of the subconscious mind is to ensure that you respond exactly the way you are programmed.

James 2:17. Even so faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead. Hopes are shadows to come, but faith is working on. Activate your faith. This is the real life, not those Paradise minds created in us by self acclaimed pastors and prophets who focus on prosperity messages to achieve their hidden motives and to enrich themselves. Christianity Is to be "felt".
