Miss Tourism Ghana UK 2017 Launched In The UK

As parts of its aims of grooming and empowering young women of Ghanaian heritage in the diaspora to stand tall to help promote Ghana’s Tourism programs the pageant show : “Miss Tourism Ghana UK” has been launched for its 2017 edition.

In a grand style, Miss Tourism Ghana UK will be crowning the new Queen for 2017 , More so ,the pageant seeks to enhance each contestant’s inner and outer beauty through culture whiles they also gain self-confidence and passion for excellence.

They will be trained to undertake promotion of traditional culture through advocacy, traditional clothing photo shoots, runway shows and speeches on Ghana Tourism. Applicants must be aged between 18 to 25years and of Ghanaian heritage.

It is a noble pageant par excellence, for the promotion of businesses which target Ghana and the Ghanaian market in the Diaspora.

As Ghana celebrates 60years, Miss Tourism Ghana UK ,seeks ways to promote Ghana’s Tourism including calendar photo shoot in tourist locations in Ghana.

On the night of the finals, contestants will be individually assessed by a panel of judges on their overall performance and suitability for becoming the next queen. Before the grand finale successful contestants will be mentored by a professional coach.

The pageant is fully endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism Culture Arts and Ghana Tourism Authority and supports the government tourist programs, and seeks various avenues to promote and revamp various tourism sites; discover new tourism potentials in Ghana to promote abroad.

The pageant was officially launched at the Commonwealth Africa Summit Gala Awards Dinner on the 15th March, 2017.

The launch was attended by various VIPs and eminent leaders from across Africa including Mayors, Ambassadors, Chiefs, MPs, Governors and more
