Bunkpurugu Naba Calls For Calm At Bunbuluk In Chereponi District

The Paramount Chief of Bunkpurugu Naa Alhaji Abuba Nasinmong has called for call in Bunbuluun a suburb of Chereponi where Bimobas and Konbonsi clashed this afternoon and destroyed several properties and loss of lives.

Chief Alhaji Abuba hinted that, Bimobas and Konbonsis are more than family to be engaged in gun battle, he added that, what happened today should never come as again as Ancestors will not be happy about it.

I want to thank the paramount chief of Chereponi for the manner he has intervene in the matter, I wish to appeal to him as the head of the Traditional head of the area, to put the Bimoba and Konbonsi Naba to the traditional book. Naba Abuba

The security in chereponi has done very well for their response during the clash, I must say that , every tribe or clan in and around chereponi should show interest in smocking peace in the area , lets together shame those who take advantage of this clashes to do business by selling arms and ammunitions , we must rise as people with one voice and one destiny by helping the security to track and arrest people with myopic minds. Our informant say, today’s clash is related to the previous clashed last year which was established to be because of fishing for fish at the river. other opinion leader from wanchigi who withheld his name said , the clashed is as a result of a missing cattle , he said a call came on his phone calming that , Bimobas and Konbonsis had attached one another killing two and injuring two as well.

Most of the affected families have run to Togo since the area is a close board town
