Coach Charles Akonnor is expected to begin work at Ashantigold today (Tuesday).
The ex-Ghana international is replacing Bashir Hayford who quits few weeks ago.
The miners are desperate to turn around a season which has been hugely disappointing.
Akonnor has agreed personal terms with the Obuasi-based side after been given permission by Dreams FC to hold talks with the club.
Akonnor has been with the Division One League club for three years and would like to take the next step in his coaching career.
