"The world can never be a better place for the living until it explore the potentials of those who wish to make so", an enterpreneur once said. This statement is a true reflection of a woman who have lived all her life serving the world and humanity. She is a mother, a dream maker, a motivator and above all cheerful icon for her country. She might not be a popular face as people wants to see before they can treat someone as a true servant of his or her nation.

I have had the opportunity to stay closer to her for over a decade and I am much more than convinced to say, this woman is worth celebrating. Like the saying goes, " a country that do not reward it heroes is not worth dying for". This is the reason why I want you to join hands with me to celebrate and reward Madam Alice Appiah Kusi in our own small way.

Yes! She is worth it all. A woman who has lived all her life for the mutual benefits of all is worth celebrating and that is a reason to in all manner of homage and by kind words wish her all the best of her life as she has finally come to rest from over 30 years servitude to mother Ghana and the world at large.

Yesterday, 19th June,2016 marked the 60th birthday and send-off anniversary for Madam Alice Appiah Kusi. She is an educationist by profession. She started her teaching career at a young age as a "pupil Teacher" until she finally upgraded herself to Offinso Teacher Training College and become a professional teacher since and later to the University of Education, Winneba to obtain her degree.

In her over 30 years of teaching, one can imagine the number of people who haved passed through her hands to become the various personalities in their respective societies. From the non-professional service sector to the professional service sector of the economy, Madam Alice as she is usually called have helped shape many individuals. She climbed from lower levels of teaching to become an Assistant headmistress. Aside that, she has been a very instrumental personality in the various districts she served as a teacher.

At her send-off event, the many good praises that came from her colleague teachers, students (both past and present) and the Nyiaeso sub-metro education officers were clear indications, she served with all her heart to the growth and sustainance of education in Ghana. There are so many things that, words cannot say to our beloved countrywoman.

Again, like our elders say "the beginning of every madness is the home", all the good things Madam Alice have in her was not limited to her professional arena alone. In her family too. To us in the family, she is worth more the a mother. She is indeed a woman for all, irrespective of whatever and wherever you find yourself. One thing every member knows her for is her readiness to speak up her mind when there is an issue concerning the family. Not in a dishonest way, she is fond of "hitting the the hammer straight on the nail". By so doing, she is not selfish in her submissions too...she speaks as what will benefit either all or majority of the family members.

The welfare of every individual of the family is a major concern of her. Madam Alice will do anything possible to help you reach your goal(s) if she finds there is a meaning to the course you have taken. To me, she has proven to be more than just a mother. I love to go closer to her for her continuous advice and motivation. she has taught me never to give up in everything I do even when I do not recieve the credit I expected from people around me. Her words have doped me to be very resistant to my critics and back-trackers.

Inspite of all her good inputs in the family, one thing she is always known for, is her respect for all manner of persons in the family wether young or old.

Indeed, Madam Alice is worthy of celebration.
To conclude, yesterday was the day I really understood something an old friend of mine use to tell me. He tells me "Rich, even though you percieve to be a nobody in your community now, your life is a business on its own that external managers have an important interest in it".

I wish every man will make a meaning of what my good friend use to tell me.

At her send-off party, I was pleased and honored by the many acolades and good words that was showered unto Madam Alice from the people in our community. Some of the people in Ahenema Kokoben where Madam lives, her in-laws and peers described her as a "giver, mentor, adviser, courageaous, and respectful personality" who's impact in the society cannot be erased.

On this glorious day and moment, I, on behalf of the "Asona Royal Family" of Ahenema Kokoben, friends and members of the community who have one way or the other benefitted from your kind generosity towards mankind, wish to say Ayekooo!!!

Maame, we can't say much than to ask the blessings of God upon your remaining years on earth filled with good health, wisdom, wealth, servitude and above all, a God fearing life.

In my small way, I think there is nothing to show for all the good things you have done for ourme but I write to you this piece to let the whole world and you know how much I value and appreciate your endless love and motherhood.

I wish I can reach out to every single person in this world to tell them about you...but I do not have that means.

I want to assure you that, the selfless life you have led all your life on earth won't be in vane. People will emulate you and bless you for availing yourself as a mirror for them to make a success out of it.

I know and believe, anybody who finds this piece to read will thank and bless you on my behalf.

Mum, May God bless you more than you imagined!
Mummy, you are worth it!!
We say bravooooo!!!
