
The Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo, has died.
Dr Bampoe Addo reportedly passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, after a brief illness, according to sources cited by Citi News.
He served as Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG and was instrumental in the association’s negotiations with government, industrial actions and engagements with various stakeholders on issues affecting public sector workers.
He was also actively involved in the development of CLOGSAG’s institutional policies and represented the interests of members on labour and public sector matters.
His death is expected to be a significant loss to the association and the wider public sector labour community.
