On behalf of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) United Kingdom & Ireland Chapter, I wish to offer our condolences to the distraught family of our late brother and Comrade, Hayford Akrofi. How could our brother Rest In Peace in the manner of the gruesome murder that he faced?. It is our prayer therefore, that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are apprehended in order that He can afford to Rest In Peace Amen.
He was a very warm, approachable, kind and a gentle person, always ready to share his views on national issues, irrespective of political affiliations and most importantly he held Ghana at the centre of his heart and that was an enviable trait Hayford possessed.
He died working and thinking about his country. As we mourn Comrade Hayford Akrofi we wish his entire family and the general membership of the Convention People's Party (CPP) both in Ghana and the United Kingdom where he served as a Vice-Chair ,God's guidance, protection and blessing as they are going through this difficult period.
May He have Perfect Peace in the bosom of our Lord where the discordant voices will be silent. There he will not know no more pain. There he will be rewarded for his labour done on this earth.
We cannot stop the hand of time or live again the past, but we will love and think of you Comrade, as long as our lives last.
Fare thee Well, Comrade Hayford Akrofi. Damirifa Due, Due.
