Accra, April 30, GNA- The Minister for Regional Co-operation and NEPAD, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, has been declared unopposed as the NPP parliamentary candidate for Offinso North in the December elections.
This was contained in a release issued and signed by Mr. Ahmed Osumani Halid, Media Relations Officer of the Ministry of Regional Co-operation and NEPAD, in Accra on Friday.
The released said the Minister has been returned unopposed for the third time term on the ticket of the NPP.
His retention has gone to confirm his popularity amongst the people in the constituency, the release said.
The statement said addressing supporters of the party at Offinso on Thursday, Dr Apraku thanked them for the confidence reposed in him.
He also assured them that he would do everything possible to promote the image of the nation, government and the party.
Dr. Apraku said he would continue to provide more amenities to make the people happy and productive.
