Is Christianity Biblical? Part 1 Of 2
20.02.2014 LISTEN

It is generally believed by many simple-minded people that Christianity is a religion that is revealed and taught in the English Bible, and for that matter, in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures. For close to two millennia, people have even believed Christianity to be the religion founded by the Savior of the world who came from Heaven.

But then, could these people really be correct and safe in these beliefs, when strangely enough, the word CHRISTIANITY is not mentioned even once in the entire English Bible? Do you know that the English Bible makes no mention of the word CHRISTIANITY?

The fact is, not even once in any one of the numerous versions of the English Bible can the word, CHRISTIANITY, be found. Not a single person of Christianity's many zealous adherents can point out one verse in the entire Bible that mentions the word CHRISTIANITY; and yet they believe in CHRISTIANITY so faithfully to the point of even desiring to die or kill in defense of it?

Why would people believe that the English Bible teaches on such an important issue as CHRISTIANITY—the religious faith which many consider to be the only one faith which when subscribed and zealously adhered to will carry its faithful to live beyond earth, in the Abode of the Most High One—when it does not mention it in even one instance throughout its pages? Is this not strange?

To add to this strangeness is the belief held by many that the English Bible is the inspired, holy, and pure word of the Most High One, and that it was written verbatim by holy men who heard Him dictate this word to them. In other words, they believe the English Bible reveals the wisdom and will of the Most High One.

But if it is or ever was so, why does the Most High One not define for mankind what He means by CHRISTIANITY, if indeed this religion is from Him and that the English Bible is His revelation to mankind? Despite this lingering question, many still hold the English Bible as a highly sacred book because they believe it is the written word of the Most High One.

Now, if the English Bible were indeed the written word of the Most High One, would it not have been devoid of all the numerous errors that many who read and study it have found in it? If the English Bible were to be indeed the written word of the Most High One, how would mortal man be able, to find fault with it? The simple answer is that the English Bible is not the word of the Most High One!

But of course, the Most High One does have in our world His written word. This written word of the Most High One has in it, the full account of who He is, how He created the universe, how He controls it, His relationship and fellowship with mankind since Creation onto today, and how He will live with mankind in a new world soon to come.

This written word of the Most High One was revealed by Him and written by holy men He preordained and sanctified who, at varying times, heard Him speak to them in the Hebrew tongue, and therefore wrote it down in Hebrew.

The complete written word of the Most High One is in two parts: one, pertaining to a past era in His dealings with mankind, with the nation of Israel at the center; and the other, revealing His covenant with holy mankind today. This complete word of the Most High One is known as the Hebrew Holy Scriptures and its two parts are commonly known as the New and Old Testaments —but more meaningfully and appropriately in Hebrew as the Tanakh (or Tanach) and Brit Chadasha, respectively.

It is sad to say that, without being given the mandate and authorization of the Most High One to translate the Hebrew Holy Scriptures into any other languages of the world, mankind has done so by his own volition. The end result is the production of the English Bible which many hold to be a “version” of the Word of the Most High One!

But then, because the translations of the Holy Scriptures were done by man without the mandate and anointing of the Most High One, all versions of the Bible, mainly in English, but also in other languages of the world, have turned out instead to be perversions of the originally pure and holy Hebraic Word of the Most High One! (--continuing part to this article is in Part 2 of 2: Soon to be published).
