Hormones Matter! Kick GMO Out!!
07.01.2014 LISTEN

Bend down low; let me tell you what I know yeah;

How can you be sitting there
Telling me that you care -
That you care?
When every time I look around,
The people suffer in the suffering
In everyway, in everywhere.
Say: na-na-na-na-na (na-na, na-na!):
We're the survivors, yes: the Black survivors!
I tell you what: some people got everything;
Some people got nothing;
Some people got hopes and dreams;
Some people got ways and means
In this age of technological inhumanity (Black survival),

Scientific atrocity (survivors),
Atomic misphilosophy (Black survival),
Nuclear misenergy (survivors):
It's a world that forces lifelong insecurity (Black survival).

The falcon cannot hear the falconer and anytime that the falcon cannot hear the falconer things will surely fall apart and the centre can no longer hold. Mere anarchy will finally be loosed upon the health of the people. So Mr. MP please save our souls from perishing and show us that you care!!

We got to survive, y'all! (survivors)
GMO Advocates, don't tell me,
GMO is safe under the earth.
I know you don't know
what life is really worth.
Its not all that glitters is gold;
alf the story has never been told:
So now you see we are aware, eh!
Leave us alone in Ghana. Cos your people rejected you

come on!
Most people think,
Great God will come from the skies,
Take away everything
And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
and will not even promote GMO. jah!
We sick an tired of-a your ism-skism game -
Telling people GMO is safe Mosanto .
We know when we understand:
But once almighty God is a living man.
You can fool some people sometimes,
But you can't fool all the people all the time.
So now we see the light (what you gonna do? ),
We gonna stand up for our rights! And send you away Mosanto !

(yeah, yeah, yeah!)
There is great debate over the safety of herbicide rendered or engineered, genetically modified organisms (GMO) within the food and water supply. Studies on the side of industry, suggest no major ill-effects, while those on the side of environmentalist indicate differently. Research design likely contributes to the disparate findings.

Much research to date has been short-term (90-120 days) and/or has limited the analysis to testing or manipulating only the active ingredient in the herbicide (glyphosate) and not the variety adjuvants found in the total herbicide formulation and that would be dispersed into the natural environment (food, water) post herbicide use.

As an advocate for Men's Health I have realized that Male Fertility May Be in Trouble: Testosterone and Sperm Counts Plummet and GMO foods could make it worse.

MEN TODAY ARE NOT THE MEN THAT THEIR GRANDFATHERS WERE!

Testosterone deficiency is a serious health issue. It can lead to loss of stamina and lean muscle mass, reduced libido in men and women, anxiety, depression, and cognitive decline. Growing research also suggests low testosterone levels might be linked to insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes.

Many of the herbicides and pesticides used in conventional farming are “environmental estrogens.” This means that their molecules mimic the activity of the human hormone estrogen, too much of which is not good for men or women; it also affects testosterone levels. Now GMO crops have likely exacerbated this problem. According to a recent animal study published in the journalToxicology in Vitro, glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup, Monsanto's widely used pesticide) often leaves a residue on Roundup Ready crops—and this can affect testosterone levels and men's sperm counts. It is actually toxic to testicle cells, and significantly lowers testosterone synthesis.

In addition, GMOs themselves may cause infertility. In a brand new Russian study on hamsters, scientists observed that consumption of GM soybeans tended to slow their sexual maturation process and completely eliminated their ability to reproduce within just a few generations. An Austrian study uncovered similar infertility in third-generation mice that consumed GM corn.

Most people think of testosterone as being a men's issue, but women also need it in lower levels. Too low levels have been linked to osteoporosis, muscle loss, and a weakened sex drive. For women, too much or too little testosterone can inhibit fertility and complicate pregnancy as well as reduce interest in sex.

Men's sperm counts are falling dramatically in modern society. In 1940, sperm counts were typically well above 100 million sperm cells per milliliter. According to a Danish study, they have dropped to an average of 60 million per ml. Other studies find that between 15 and 20% of young men have sperm counts of less than 20 million per ml.

Despite all this, the biotech industry is fighting tooth and nail to keep these toxic, genetically engineered foods on your dinner table. They are desperate to keep you from knowing what you're eating—that's why they, together with Big Food companies, are spending shocking amounts of money to keep GMO foods from being labeled as such.

But if GMO is safe why now Labeling GMOs is especially important in the US? Ten-year long study on rats, mice, pigs, and salmon, scientists in Norway found that genetically engineered soy and corn causes obesity. It also causes significant changes in the digestive system and major organs, including the liver, kidneys, pancreas, and genitals. Rat and hamster studies have also found that the animals become sterile by the third generation.

Animals fed genetically modified soy and corn—specifically, soy and corn containing toxic proteins from the bacteria Bacillus thuriengensis, which kills insects that damage corn, soy, cotton, canola and other crops—were seen to be less able to digest proteins due to alterations in the micro-structure of their intestines. They also suffered immune system alterations.

On top of that, glyphosphate (the herbicide used on genetically modified soybeans) may be causing birth defects in animal fetuses. Roundup-Ready GMO soy is Argentina's main crop, and Monsanto's Roundup weed-killer is used in great quantities. Now scientists are seeing brain, intestinal, and heart defects in amphibian embryos. The scientists say the results “are completely comparable to what would happen in the development of a human embryo.”

Soy Lowers Testosterone and Sperm Count Levels
I've never been a fan of soy for many reasons. Genetically modified organisms (GM or GMO) have had specific changes made to their DNA by genetic engineering, and 93 percent of all U.S. soy is genetically modified (GM).

A French study compared the effects of GM corn on mammalian health and found that eating GM corn for just five weeks reduced kidney and liver function (primary detoxification organs) and had negative effects on the heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells.

A new study by a Russian scientist claims that consuming GM soy results in mammal sterility. The actual study hasn't been published yet, so I'm unable to comment further until I've reviewed it. In any case, GM crops do have what is referred to as a “terminator” gene, which renders the seeds of the plant sterile.

The human diet requires both omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. They are called essential because our body requires them but can't make them. We have to get fatty acids from food sources, the most common being fish for omega-3 and vegetable oils and nuts for omega-6. All systems in the human body require balance, and the relationship between omega-3 and omega-6 is no different. At the cellular level, omega-3 reduces inflammation and omega-6 causes inflammation. Unfortunately, due to processed foods, the American diet includes far too much inflammation-causing omega-6 and not enough inflammation-reducing omega-3.

This imbalance results in cancer, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, obesity, diabetes, IBD, osteoporosis and ADHD .

So how does this tie into soy?
Soybean oil contains over 14,000 milligrams of omega-6 per ounce. Soybean oil and/or soy is used in almost all processed foods. Soy also contain trypsin inhibitors, which interfere with the digestion of protein and amino acids, and large amounts of phytic acid, an anti-nutrient that is also found in whole grains, which blocks the absorption of calcium, magnesium, iron, copper and zinc . Several studies have documented the ill effects of both GM and non-GM soy.

In a 2001 Brigham Young University Neuroscience Center study, rats were fed either a normal diet or a soy diet. After only five weeks, the rats that were fed the soy diet had testosterone levels that were 50 percent lower than the rats that were fed a normal healthy diet. A “significant” decrease of the androstenedione levels (the precursor of sex hormones) was also observed in the soy-fed rats, and they had significantly lower plasma androgen levels. Androgen controls the development and maintenance of male characteristics in humans.

In another study, infants that were fed a soy-based formula for 30 days had testosterone levels that were significantly lower than infants that were fed cow's milk-based formula . Because the majority of U.S. soy is genetically modified, it shouldn't be permitted to be in infant formula.

But, it gets even worse. A 2008 Harvard School of Public Health study found that men with a high dietary soy intake had 41 million less sperm/ml than men who did not eat soy [11].

Because of the high levels of omega-6 fatty acids found in soy, which cause inflammation at the cellular level, combined with most soy being genetically modified, I don't recommend soy in anyone's healthy diet. Given soy's proven ability to lower testosterone and androgen levels, I especially don't recommend soy for males of any age. The best way to avoid soy is to avoid processed foods. Read the ingredients label of the foods you buy, and if you see soy in any form, put it back on the shelf. Better yet, start eating real whole-foods, lots of vegetables, fruit, meat and eggs. Men, your little swimmers are counting on you. Don't let them down.

GMO Corn & Roundup Shown to Cause Hormonal Imbalance

The most recent study on genetically modified foods, shows that long-term consumption of the herbicide Roundup and Roundup tolerant GM corn (maize) may cause hormonal imbalance. The evidence is mounting; genetically modified food crops may be a cause of infertility.

In the case of fertility, both estrogen and testosterone are key players. These hormones are imperative to proper reproductive function in both men and women. Higher levels of estrogenwere shown to be a result of rats fed Roundup alone in their water, rats fed corn sprayed with Roundup and/or corn genetically altered to tolerate Roundup spraying. Across the world images of the rats were displayed, showing huge mammary tumors.

These images sent shock waves across the world. This study has prompted protests against GMO worldwide. Check out the findings on altered hormonal balance in the rats as published in the study below:

Note: GM stands for genetically modified and R stands for Roundup

…in females the androgen/estrogen balance in serum was modified by GM maize and R treatments (at least 95% confidence level, ), and for male animals at the highest R-treatment dose, levels of estrogens were more than doubled…

…These tumors are generally known to be mostly estrogen-dependent (Harvell et al., 2000). We observed a strikingly marked induction of mammary tumors by R alone, a major formulated pesticide, even at the very lowest dose administered. R has been shown to disrupt aromatase which synthesizes estrogens (Richard et al., 2005), but to also interfere with estrogen and androgen receptors in cells (Gasnier et al., 2009). In addition, R appears to be a sex endocrine disruptor in vivo, also in males (Romano et al., 2010). Sex steroids are also modified in treated rats. These hormone-dependent phenomena are confirmed by enhanced pituitary dysfunction in treated females. An estrogen modified feedback mechanism may act at this level (Popovics et al., 2011; Walf and Frye, 2010). The similar pathological profiles pro- voked by the GM maize containing R residues may thus be explained at least by R residues themselves, knowing that the medium dose of the R treatment corresponds to acceptable levels of this pesticide residues in GMOs.

Roundup, GMO and Our Food
Roundup is an herbicide. Many crops have been made to resist glyphosate, the main ingredient in Roundup. Monsanto, who makes Roundup, calls these seed, crops Roundup Ready. Roundup tolerant crops include the top most consumed foods in the world over, including soy, corn, sugar beets, cottonseed oil and canola oil.

These are the top food crops that are used to not only feed humans, but livestock as well. So not only does consumption of GM foods affect humans, it affects animals as well; animals we also choose to eat. GM feed and Roundup exposure is most common in poultry, beef and pork.

Roundup has been used since the 1970s to kill annual broadleaf weeds and grasses that compete with these food crops. Roundup Ready plants resist glyphosate, preventing their death, while the weeds around them die off.

To date there have been no long-term studies on animals, to show the safety of GM food crops or regular consumption of foods regularly sprayed with Roundup, except this most recent study. Roundup also contains surfactants, similar to those in shampoo, liquid soap, ect. Surfactants are there to permeate the outer layer of the leaves of plants, so the glyphosate can be absorbed into the plant.

These surfactants have been shown to cause cell death. Typically a person using surfactants via soaps, etc. Uses them on the outside of the body, where the skin protects the inner body, but what if you are ingesting these surfactants through Roundup residue on produce? Roundup is not meant to be eaten. Just another reason to choose organic produce!

Protect Your Fertility: Avoid Consuming GM Foods
Knowledge is power. If you know the facts, you are more likely to avoid unhealthy food choices. An attitude of “I don't care” has to stop. Be proactive about your health and the health of your children.

Low T (testosterone) in 1 of every 4 men tied to GMO and BPA; who knew?

Impact of hormones on prostate health!

Back to the elevated estrogen levels in the rats. We already know that estrogen dominance is a leading cause of a variety of fertility issues, including low sperm count, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PCOS and ovulation disorders. Not only that, 3 studies in the past 2 years have come out showing that rising estrogen levels are causing young girls to begin puberty at an earlier age than ever documented in history.

A study published in Pediatrics in 2011 found that in the United States alone, 15% of girls begin puberty by age 7. With breast development beginning at a younger age as well. Exposure to any chemicals, foods, or substances that increase estrogen levels unnaturally may lead to widespread fertility problems for future generations. Don't think that males are immune, exposure to elevated estrogen levels can alter sperm health, and most importantly prostate health!

Now lets me tell you guys the truth today about prostate problems. The whole problem is the welfare between testosterone and estrogen ratio. Men's testosterone level falls by the age of 40 to 50years.

Hormones play an important part in prostate health; both in the promotion of the disease as well as in the treatment of specific disorders with hormone therapy. Prostate cancer is influenced by hormones and the relationship and balance of those hormones to each other; specifically, testosterone and its conversion into dihydrotestosterone(DHT) and estrogen/estradiol .

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is involved in noncancerous growth of the prostate (BPH) as well as the development of prostate cancer. DHT also stimulates growth of prostate cells, and is reportedly as much as 30 times more potent than testosterone. Hormones can also influence the growth of the prostate in cases of BPH. Maintaining hormone balance plays a major role in prostate health. According to the World Health Organization “diet might influence prostate cancer risk by affecting hormone levels.

Let's put this very simply: Men who eat insecticides, pesticides, and herbicides mess up their testosterone levels, which can affect their manliness, their sex drive, prostate health and their overall health. This is not a difficult subject to understand, but what can be done about it? Men who eat BPA, or bisphenol-A, are also experiencing low T (low testosterone), and that can be found in plastics, like plastic water bottles, and this sounds like an easy subject to research, but what can be done about that? Could it be that bug killer and weed killer cause mineral deficiencies in food and in the soil where food is grown all over America?

Yes, of course, but what can be done about that? For most men, especially in the United States, the typical meal includes non-organic meat, non-organic milk, GMO vegetables and GMO fruit, because they just don't know the difference between all this pesticide laden food and organic. Also, millions of men buy and drink bottled water, thinking it's spring water and that it is pure, but little do they know, most bottled water is tap water and is contaminated with BPA, a dangerous chemical used in plastics that seeps into the water and can cause birth defects in children, reproductive defects, and LOW-T.

http://www.naturalnews.com/038856_bpa-free_bps_toxic_chemical.html

According to research posted by Natural News, all of the above mentioned toxins in food and soil are contributing to low T, and there's one way out! The cure is organic food and REAL spring water. You see, organic food comes from soil with high mineral content and is not doused with bug and weed killer. GMO has weed killer inside and out.

Real spring water comes from mountains and is loaded with minerals also, whereas this bottled tap water being sold all over America is toxic and void of any minerals, especially because tap water contains highly toxic fluoride, bleach, and even pharmaceuticals from other humans that are never filtered out.

You have to pay attention to what you put in your body. People rush to the allopathic doctors for a pill to save them from “bad nutrition” and then they keep eating and drinking toxins, wondering why the pills don't work, and why they have no money for decent food. Western Medicine loves people who are not educated about organic food and spring water, because those people become clients for life. If you have low-T or are experiencing symptoms similar to what is being described in this blog, you should check out what the health ranger Mike Adams has to say about nutrition and Nature's Medicine, organic food!

By the way, don't eat cancer and it won't eat you! Learn how to filter common toxins from your daily intake:http://programs.webseed.com/Dont_Eat_Cancer__TV.htm

“According to one prominent expert in the field, some common causes of Low T include mineral deficiencies, and especially a lack of zinc; excess stress, which is often associated with raised cortisol production and lowered DHEA levels; too much exercise and weight training without enough rest; head or gonadal trauma; exposure to estrogens in the environment and from bad food; and accumulation of visceral, or belly, fat, and corresponding insulin resistance
