Palace Hyper Market, a newly-constructed shopping Mall, has been inaugurated along the Spintex Road in Accra.
The 11,000 square meters hypermarket has on sale food items, furniture, household items, sport equipment, ceramics and clothing among others.
Seth Badu-Tawiah, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ledzokuku Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA), who officially inaugurated the mall, commended the management for investing in the country's economy.
He said government was committed to providing an enabling environment for foreigners to invest in the country's economy to better the lives of the people.
He assured the investor community of government's willingness to provide security for their businesses since they create jobs opportunities for the youth.
Mr Badu-Tawiah called on investors to set up more businesses in the municipality to offer the residents employment opportunities.
Chief Executive of Palace Hyper Market, Nidal Ezzddine, said the establishment of the hypermarket had created jobs for about 200 young people in the area.
He pointed out that his outfit decided to establish the business because of stability and peace in the country.
'Ghana is safe and a land of opportunities to invest in. I promise to bring my rich experience in managing malls in Europe to bear on this facility,' he said.
