
Accra, May 1, GNA -The Office of the President has directed Dr Frank Odoom, Director General of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) to proceed on leave prior to his retirement with effect from May 15, 2013.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency by Mr Mahama Ayariga, Minister of Information and Media Relations said on Tuesday.
It named Mr Ernest Thompson to assume the position of Acting Director General on the date Dr Odoom's leave begins.
The statement added that Mr Prosper Bani, Chief of Staff, signed the letter, which was made available to the Ministry of Information and Media Relations.
