The President of National Paramount Queen Mothers Association of Ghana Pognaba Namalteng Danig Sugri I, on Monday expressed deep grief and shock at the untimely home call of former President ,Professor John Evans Atta Mills.
The President who led a delegation to the residence of the late President John Atta Mills to console the former first lady expressed their condolence to the family and assured of their warmth consolation and support.
She described the late President as a father of the nation with an exemplary stature of high emotional intelligence, humble and respectful which endeared the heart of all.
The President call on all Ghanaians to be sober and focused in whatever they do during this period of mournful pain, to ensure that we maintain the current peace to his memory.
She also expressed pride in the manner in which President John Mahama was sworn into office and expressed the hope that he would perform to expectation as the prayers of the traditional council and that of many Ghanaians are with him.
The delegation later signed a book of condolence.
