ALEX KYEREMEH CALLS FOR UNITY AGAINST NPP

By Bernard Buachi

Hon Alex Kyeremeh the parliamentary candidate for the Techiman north constituency of the NDC has stated his intentions to cooperate with all party members who are willing to work with him to ensure that the NDC wins the Techiman North Parliamentary seat again.

He particularly invited the other candidates who contested him in the run-up to the primaries to unite with him now that the primaries were over in order to secure a convincing victory for the ruling party.

The NDC parliamentary candidate who is also the municipal Chief Executive for the Techiman Municipality, made the overture after he was declared winner of the Techiman North Parliamentary Primaries held by the NDC last Saturday at Tuobodom.

He appealed to all and sundry to endeavor to forgive each other for any regrettable occurrences preceding the election, adding that he has forgiven everyone who offended him.

He says it is now time to unite and unseat the New Patriotic Party(NPP) candidate currently occupying the Techiman North seat.

Hon. Alex Kyeremeh also urged members and sympathisers of the NDC not to be complacent about the power the NDC now has but work hard to ensure the NDC continues to rule in pursuance of the “Better Ghana Agenda” promised Ghanaians.

Hon. Alex Kyeremeh won the Techiman North Parliamentary candidate position for the NDC with two hundred and Fifty (250) votes representing 87.4% of total valid votes cast against his opponent, Rev. Moses Okrah who had a paltry thirty-one (31) votes representing 12.6% of the valid votes cast. In all Two Hundred and Eighty-Six (286) delegates voted out of the expected three hundred and nine (309).
