Tontro (E/R), Nov. 30, GNA – Forty rural entrepreneurs and farmers drawn from the East Akyem and New Juaben Municipalities have ended a five-day training programme at Tontro near Akyem Tafo.
The programme organized by Beautiful Soul, an NGO, was aimed at equipping the participants with the necessary tools to help them grow and develop their businesses and organizations.
Mrs Patricia Senequier, Founder of the Beautiful Soul Social Entrepreneurs, appealed to the participants to separate their business from personal interests and to plan ahead.
She said in order to expand their businesses, they needed to acquaint themselves with their customer base, sell more to existing clients and also to use reliable channels to market their products.
Mrs Amandra Owusu-Asare, the project coordinator in an interview with the GNA, said the workshop was a practical one where the participants were invited to create exceptional value for their customers using market research, value innovation and marketing concepts.
She said the workshop examined how effective cash flow management could ensure financial security and growth.
