During the usual saturday morning show on spirit FM the leading Ghanaian Radio station in Amsterdam a large of number foot soldiers soaked in alcohol and some smoking marijuana stormed the radio studio in a desperate attempt to beat Mr. John MacNally-Boateng, the PRO of the NDC Amsterdam branch.
The PRO Mr. John MacNally-Boateng during the programme reacted to a question posed to him about a conference that was held later in the afternoon and being organized by the chairman Mr Pat Dogbe and the foot soldiers, he said the conference was unofficial because it was without the consent of the NDC Amsterdam branch executives. It is widely believed that the intent was to buy the minds the NDC EU delegates to vote for Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings at the up and coming NDC National delegates meeting scheduled between July 8 and 10 in Ghana to elect the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress.
The host of the morning show Deacon Quayson kay tried every thing to persuade the foot soldiers to leave the premises of spirit FM studio but all proved futile The foot soldiers led by Mr. Dodoo varnished into the tin air when the PRO Mr. John MacNally-Boateng made an attempt to call the police. It could be recalled that it was on this same radio station Spirit FM that Mr. John Vianney Kuubaea the former leader of the foot soldiers revealed that it was the chairman Pat Dogbe who instigated them to write a petition against the sitting President Professor John Evans Atta-Mills and also drove them to the Embassy in Den Hague to present the petition.
