Accra, March 2, GNA - Aqua Vitens Rand Limited, acting for and on behalf of the Ghana Water Company Limited as the Operator, on Tuesday began installing 40,000 domestic water meters nationwide in the premises of consumers.

“The meters will be installed at no cost to customers. Customers are entreated to cooperate with the contractors by opening up their premises and helping to identify service lines,” the statement said.
The breakdown of meters to be installed in various cities and towns around the country is as follows: Accra, 23,000; Kumasi 11,000; Cape Coast, Winneba and Swedru, 2,000; Tamale, 2,000, Koforidua, 1,500, and Ho, 1,000.
