The Institute of Economic Affairs, IEA Ghana has been honoured as a distinguished recipient of the Millennium Excellence Awards at a ceremony in Accra.
The Institute was awarded for its role in fostering good governance and multiparty democracy in Ghana and West Africa over the last twenty-one years.
The awards are presented every five years. This year’s award ceremony which took place on Saturday December 4, 2010 was the third in the series.
The Executive Director of the IEA, Mrs. Jean Mensa, received the award on behalf of The Institute. The award consisted of a framed citation, a plaque and a gold brooch.
