Forever My Love
by
Habel Awuku Dadoto
When the sun goes down
And darkness rescind the glory of day
The night settled to quietness
I rest squeezed in bed
To revive old desires
The lonely night's dream
Sent my thoughts to her door steps
Wondering in confusion and dismay
Miseries of her jerking heart
The fondant and relays of love
For across the ocean
The brightness of her warm smiles
Lost the flavor of the perfect kiss
Thus in sincerity of sunrise
I long for the eventide
That I could fondle her dripping body
To scale down man's duty call
Reassured in deep seal of trust
That she's there always
And forever my love
In dedication to all loving relationships living apart from each other across the
oceans.
