Accra, April 29, GNA - Vodafone Ghana on Thursday launched a call package dubbed "Vodafone 3030 Promotion" for its mobile prepaid customers in its drive to offer customers more value for money, a statement in Accra said.
The statement signed by Mr. Isaac Cudjoe, Head of Corporate Communications, said the promotion would allow Vodafone mobile prepaid customers to talk for free up to 30 minutes for only 30Gp each time they call Vodafone mobile or land line.
"The special promotion will run for three months beginning from Thursday, April 29, 2010 and end on Thursday, July 29, 2010," it said.
To register, Vodafone subscribers should dial 3030 and upon connection would be charged 30Gp once, after which they could talk for 30 minutes.
The statement said the promotion was limited to Vodafone mobile prepaid customers and only calls between Vodafone mobile to Vodafone mobile or from Vodafone mobile to Vodafone land line.
"Customers should note that calls to other networks, international destinations and calls from Vodafone land lines are charged at standard rates," it said.
The statement said subscribers who registered for the promotion could make as many calls as they like and talk for up to 30 minutes at a time.
"For each call the customer will be charged only 30Gp and he can talk for free for up to 30 minutes with no further charges when the call is to a Vodafone mobile number or land line".
"When a call goes beyond 30 minutes, the caller will be charged another 30Gp and can talk for up to another 30 minutes free of charge," he said.
"Vodafone 3030 Promotion" does not affect the Vodafone Talk n Talk bonuses, saying that the Standard Free Nights Call rates still apply.
