Believers Home Chapel celebrates Founder's Day

Accra, Dec.15, GNA - Apostle Emmanuel Inkoom, General Overseer of the Kings

Palace Chapel International, has called on Christians to play a leading role in the nation's

development agenda.
He said the situation where some Christians were at each other's throat did not augur well

for the country's growth.
Apostle Inkoom made the call at the Founder's Day celebration of the Believers Home

Chapel in Accra on Sunday.
The Day, which was aimed at giving thanks to the Lord for sustaining the life of the

founder of the church, Reverend Prophet Albert Akwasi Owusu, was under the theme "A

Year of Exposure."
Apostle Inkoom said Christians would be doing a disservice to the nation if they did not

allow the teachings of Jesus Christ to reflect in their day to day activities.

He urged religious leaders to use the pulpit to educate their members on government's

policies and programmes.
Rev. Akwasi Owusu said the church, which was started with only five men, now had a

congregation of 300.
He said the church had since its inception in the year 2002, had four branches in the

Greater Accra Region and that plans were far advanced to open branches in all the regions.

Rev. Owusu also called on Christians to unite and champion the cause of oneness to

ensure nation-building.
